Winter blew in again with a blast. We woke up to snow, wind and cold. Sent the dogs out and watched Sammy start out into the open pen. As soon as the wind hit her, she turned around and went straight into her dog house. She kept coming out to check on the cats and the neighbors, but spent most of her time in the dog house. Beamer is under the deck and I don't even want to think what he is up too!!!
Yesterday afternoon, while heading back from town, I drove straight into the wind. The water tank on the back of the pickup was bouncing up and down from the wind snapping at it. Thought for sure it was going to flip off. So...until the wind goes down, or I get the tank unloaded, I am staying put. Lots of books, warm electric blanket and maybe even some cocoa before going to bed--life is good. This weather is suppose to last for the next 8 days. (Hopefully, not the wind, though!)
