Personhood in the Senate Judiciary on 3/28/2011

PERSONHOOD AMENDMENT scheduled in MONTANA SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE

HB 490 will be heard before the Senate Judiciary Committee next Monday 3/28 at 8 am. Please contact the Senate Judiciary Committee to vote YES on this bill. This bill will put the defining of “person” before the people of Montana by a vote in the 2012 election.

Whether you believe the baby is a miracle of nature, or a miracle of God, or both-- the pre-born baby is alive. A YES vote will not define “person” in our Constitution, it puts the decision before the voters of Montana and will reflect the values of the Montana voters.

There is a lot of rhetoric from pro-abortion supporters that these babies are unwanted and that, if born, they will fill our jails and welfare offices.   It is hard to believe people can be so judgmental and the killings could go on covered by a cloak of darkness based in the lie of saving taxpayer money. What IS the price of a human life?

There is one great and awesome fact of reality that is overlooked in the outcome of these babies, if they get the chance to be born, and that is the extraordinary power of a mother's love.   Support the mother and give her and her baby a chance and there is no limit on what she and her baby can do.  Support meaning relevance and acceptance as having worth.  Perhaps the mother won't be there and an adoptive mother will instead, but whatever the family, it is only with life, that there is hope.
