Geese and Ducks

Spring is here!  As I sped over the last hill on the gravel road to town, a flock of geese and ducks sat off to the side of the road, on the cold waters of snow run-off from the hills.  Little green headed mallards and their mates were bobbing around with them. 

I didn't get a picture of them, but tried to catch another flock at another run-off pond a little later.  As soon as I stopped the pickup and rolled down the window most of them took to the air.  Part of the flock, on the other side of the pond, stayed long enough for me to get one quick shot!  They didn't mind me driving by, but they sure knew when I stopped!  I wonder just how smart those geese and ducks are!!!

The song  "Come Awake" was added to my blogger you-tube songs.   Doesn't that just describe most of us?   Walking around spritually dead!   The enormity of the awesome grace we have, to be able to talk to GOD -- this entity that created all of the world, the universe and all in it--is beyond understanding!  Why does He bother with such as us?  Yet, He loves us.   Let us be AWAKE and know Him!  He LOVES us!!!
