Rejoice

If you have tuned into the Rejoice radio station you have found a hidden treasure.  Their playlist carries upbeat Christian songs that are beautiful...full of peace and full of love for God.   It is 90.3 on our radio dial.

"Daystar Shine Your Light Down On Me" is one of the great  songs they play.  I don't know who sang the song on the radio, but here is the song on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IVSyVDy1w8

Gotta Do It!

I went to the doctor today and was told, "Excercise, exercise, exercise!"  (Help!)   An operation is in the future, but, if I can strengthen the muscles in my abdomen and back, I might be able to keep the doctor's knife out of the picture for awhile longer.   So, today I went to the pool and then stayed for the exercise class.  That was fun!  Tiring, but fun!  The instructor played classic rock, which was the dance music of the late sixties and early seventies.    Its amazing how light one feels in the pool.  I felt like a feather and could dance while in the water.  Afterwards, as I walked up the steps out of the pool, I felt like the weight of the world was upon me.  Its amazing how God created this world!

The rain began this afternoon.  This is a perfect day to now make some scones.  It was a great Easter weekend.  The rest of this day is going to be to relax.  Tomorrow...and every day....more exercises...and so on, for the rest of my life.  There must be a fun way to exercise, I can only go to the pool once or twice a week.  I can't complain though, there are so many people hurting and so many disabled!   I am sure they would burst into tears of happiness,  if they could just do some sit-ups to overcome their burden.   God help us all.

The "Since I Quit Drinking" Song

The  song "Since I Quit Drinking" by Toby Keith is found on youtube sung by an unknown.   He has the same "cheesey" smile my grandkids have, when they flash you that special smile!

When Toby Keith's song first came out in the 1990's, I played it over and over, driving everyone nuts.  I got Timmy to dance a song with me, but the rest of the dances were with my little Sarah.  It was fun and she loved it too!

This one sounds like the real soundtrack, cute pics, but the sound is not very clear. (REMOVED)

I had to remove the link of the youtube video that played Toby Keith singing the song in the video.   Comments from commentors glared on the screen as they used indecent remarks.

Life is fun -- through the hard times and the good times!  Lord keep us and guide us all.

Our Unchanging God

I watched a documentary yesterday on Green Planet channel.   This channel has carried quite a few documentaries these last few days on the scientific and archaeological evidence that proves Biblical events, which they investigated, did indeed happen.

What a wonderful God we have.  As He opened the door for the Israelites in the Exodus, so does the Lord open doors for us in our lives today.  I think a lot of people believe that God should be a magician and pull magic feats out of the air.  The God that created this air and this world, does not need to do that to impress us--He IS God!  He uses His creation by opening doors for us, and, as a good chess player knows his moves before the plays are even on the board, so does our God know our needs before they happen.  What kind of love is this??  That an Almighty GOD, Lord of all Creation, can love us so!

The other night there was a documentary on Jesus.  I question their interpretations when they put their own reasons on the actions of Jesus, Mary and the disciples.   We need to just look at the facts, and know that God has already brought to us the Truth of the events, through the Bible.

Malachi 3

(The Coming Messenger)
1 “Behold, I send My messenger,
And he will prepare the way before Me.
And the Lord, whom you seek,
Will suddenly come to His temple,
Even the Messenger of the covenant,
In whom you delight.
Behold, He is coming,”
Says the LORD of hosts.

2 “ But who can endure the day of His coming?
And who can stand when He appears?
For He is like a refiner’s fire
And like launderers’ soap.
3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver;
He will purify the sons of Levi,
And purge them as gold and silver,
That they may offer to the LORD
An offering in righteousness.
4 “ Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem
Will be pleasant to the LORD,
As in the days of old,
As in former years.
5 And I will come near you for judgment;
I will be a swift witness
Against sorcerers,
Against adulterers,
Against perjurers,
Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans,
And against those who turn away an alien—
Because they do not fear Me,”
Says the LORD of hosts.
6 “ For I am the LORD, I do not change;..."
The documentaries remind me of something I heard preached.  That in the end of times people will see the "end of times" coming but will blame it on something else....such as global warming, or whatever.   These documentaries, too, seem to lay the happenings of selected stories of the Bible as being of scientific origin and with earthly cause, and not by the Hand of God.  Let us not turn to such hemming and hawing over whether we are real and if there is a God--- He is coming!   The Bible foretells us of the events leading up to His return.  Be ready!

The Third Trimester

Of course, now that I've said abortions are being done in the third trimester, I have to substantiate it with facts.   I'm rather exhausted today, so will be giving you sites to look at:

This is the latest US stats on abortion:  http://www.cirtl.org/stats.htm

This is Montana's latest stats on abortion:  http://www.dphhs.mt.gov/statisticalinformation/vitalstats/2008report/tablea1234.pdf#tablea3  You will see the Dept. of Vital Statistics  also includes a table showing the age of gestation when aborted.

This is states' policies on late term abortion:  http://www.guttmacher.org/statecenter/spibs/spib_PLTA.pdf

Viability is the fetus (baby)'s ability to survive outside of his/her mother.

This baby to the left is 16 weeks from conception, a second trimester baby.

We will talk more later.  God be with us.

If You Leave

A beautiful song!   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awUFFNr3imY

What a wonderful gift is life and what a joyful gift is love!  We take so much for granted.

Each of those little babies that are aborted, their lives are measured by the breath they take.  An unborn baby cannot breathe and in the eyes of the law, has no value.  Yet, their lives start at conception.  The soul, the "heart" and all of baby begins at conception.  Baby begins learning as its body develops.  First he knows awareness, and as development progresses he hears, he sees, he reacts.

The abortionist knows that his best offense is to kill the baby before baby's bones are hardened.  The older the baby, the more difficult it is to kill the baby.  In spite of the miracle of the protection of the womb, the only protection afforded baby by the law, is that he can't be killed after he breathes.  (I had better qualify that to say that Partial Birth Abortion is illegal and the Born Alive Infant Act was enacted to stop the killing of infants after birth, which was happening.)    The bottom line is that in spite of some restrictions in using taxpayer money and the Partial Birth Abortion prohibition, an abortion is still legal at any stage of the pregnancy.
When I was a child I had a dream.  I dreamed I was in the midst of a lot of bubbles.  I was sliding down a tube which then took a turn and I was sliding down another tube, all as I was in this river of bubbles.  When I awoke I tried to think where it was that I had such an awesome experience.  I could not think of any place that I had been where there had been bubbles and tubes to go down.  Many nights I laid awake trying to make myself have that dream again,  but to no avail.   Now, years later, I just wonder if that dream was triggered by a memory of an awareness of life at the beginning.

God be with us all.  May His justice and deliverance be soon!

Montana Springtime

Back again...from the land of the sun to ---snow!!!! ---and wind!!!  The first day back was the day for our church to stand in front of Planned Parenthood, in prayer, to stop the abortions.   The wind was cold.  Barb got these huge signs that were taped onto sheets of styrofoam and the wind kept trying to take off with the poster  I held.  Thank the Lord that this time I brought my "about 10-pound" purse with me and I could use it as a weight on the far end!

Today I awoke and looked outside and the ground was covered in snow.  Even though today was to be a day of rest, I was considering going out and cleaning up the mess the dogs made of everything on the deck.  Perhaps this was God's way of saying...work tomorrow, rest today.   God be with us.

All is Green

Green grass!   Green trees!  Blooming flowers!  Lots of Sunshine!   I texted my sister back home on all the beauty I saw here and for some reason her reply was leaning toward being hostile!

Well, time to go out and enjoy that nice warm sunshine --- without a coat!   Ahhhh, so nice.  Life is good!

Wind--Endless Wind

What a day!  I started up to Pete's with parts for my car, as the delivery people didn't pick them up.  The wind was terrible!

The parts helper only put one strap on, which concerned me, as the wind was so high.  It seemed firm, so I headed out nonetheless, and considered stopping to pick up another tie-down as I crossed town.   Thought the better of it, but as I headed down the interstate the big box raised about ten inches at the front.  I stopped and tightened the tie-down a little more.

Keeping a watch on the back, as I continue down the road,  I saw it go up again, so went into Vaughn.  Neither store had tie-downs.  Now, back to town to Poulsens.  I couldn't get the newly purchased tie-downs to tighten, as the reel that you tighten them on filled up and would stop before I got the strap tightened.  Then Pete called and told me to get the tie-down as tight as I wanted it BEFORE I ratcheted the strap.  I tried that and what do you know??  It worked!!!

Continuing once more down the interstate, I now considered how fast I should drive.  That wind was terrible and the box looked like it was going to go to pieces.  I was just past Manchester and suddenly in my mirror I saw the top of the box fly up and as I slowed down and pulled into a turn off a piece of the cardboard blew away.  Looking through the hand-holds I can see blue sky.   I go out and inspect the box.  Looked inside and there was a 8x12 envelope marked "small parts."  I pick it up and small packages fell to the ground--the envelope wasn't sealed!  There were only two parts on the ground, hopefully nothing blew away.   Took out the rest of the loose stuff and found the packing list.   Sitting now inside the pickup I checked over everything and found out it was all accounted for.  Called Pete and he sent Ginger down to pick up the parts from me.

Drove up to the Vaughn exit and parked in the driveway at the missile silo and fell asleep waiting for Ginger.  Woke up as she got there.  The wind was blowing hard.  We tried to shelter the boxes, but was only partially successful.  As we untied the boxes and tried to get them unloaded, the wind took them.   One box took off in the wind and Ginger grabbed the other end of the box I was holding to secure it and the next thing I know the wind took the box to the ground.  Ginger was going backwards and tripped over the tire and down she went with the box on top of her. I lifted the box off her and, in spite of  a twisted ankle that was hurting, she quickly grabbed the other box before the wind took off with it again.   With the tire securing the tall box, we unloaded and broke down the broken box, battling the wind the whole time.  Finally, we successfully loaded everything and Ginger was on her way with the parts.   I am sure she is going to sleep hard tonight....I sure am going to!  I'm now exhausted.  That wind really takes the energy out of a person!

God be with us all.
